cousin's wedding
been a great while since i wrote something; it was just that i wasn't inspired. plus i don't think anybody reads anymore.

went to my cousin's wedding today. actually second cousin but whatever - she was the only cousin i knew beside her sibs that i remember from the time i could crawl till she got into high school. she was gorgeous, i wanted her wedding dress. her husband wasn't so much on the attractive side but maybe that's a good thing. if you have someone who really loves you and you know that then to hell with everything else.
right?

well, there's always people to be please - especially family members. there were well over 40 tables at the reception with about 10 people to each. i met cousins i never knew i had. along with aunts and uncles and great uncles, whatever. too bad we're all related.

the best part i think was when it came time for the newly-weds to dance. i loved how my cousin sang to her husband (i feel weird saying that) while they dance. they were both camera-shy the entire night through but when they were just by themselves out there dancing - out there alone - i don't think they notice the 400 guests surrounding them about ten feet back.

i never felt so alone in my life when it came time to end the reception with several last dances. just watching the other people dancing and being me, i was too shy and/or felt too awkward to talk to anyone else but my 10 years old brother.
